ABOUT MIDDLE EAST SHINMOO HAPKIDO ASSOCIATION
Welcome to Middle East Shinmoo Hapkido Association Website.

By the direct order of the Great Grandmaster, Dojunim Ji Han Jae Middle East Shinmoo Hapkido Association (MESHA) was created in 2021 to support, promote, govern, oversee skills and knowledge, operations, promotions, conduct, and ethics with high standards, etc in all Shinmoo (Sinmoo) Hapkido schools in the region. You must have MESHA recognition to be a legitimate Shinmoo (Sinmoo) school or country representative in the region.

M.E.S.H.A. is operating under the auspices of the World Shinmoo Jongshindo Association (WSJA) and the World Sinmoo Association (WSA). The President of this organization is the Senior Grandmaster Farshad Azad (10th Dan). Mr. Azad is appointed as Dojunim’s Special Official Ambassador, Regional Director, and the President of the Middle East Shinmoo Hapkido Association (MESHA) as well as the President of the World Shinmoo Jongshindo Association (WSJA).
To be a recognized as a legitimate Shinmoo (Sinmoo) Hapkido school or Shinmoo Country Representative in the Middle East and neighboring countries one must have written consent, and/or a legitimate MESHA Certificate announcing the person as the Country Representative in addition to an approval from Middle East Shinmoo Hapkido Association’s President, Senior Grandmaster Farshad Azad.

MESHA strives to support and recognize all legitimate martial arts Grandmasters, Masters, Instructors, Coaches, Referees, and students in the area under the direct supervision of the Founder of Hapkido, The Great Grandmaster, Dojunim Ji Han Jae, and his only representative in the middle east area, Senior Grandmaster Azad.
Senior Grandmaster Azad, and Dojunim Ji Han Jae invite all current and past Shinmoo (Sinmoo) country representatives, instructors, and coaches to contact Senior Grandmaster Farshad Azad to become members of the MESHA family immediately. The massive success of each legitimate Country Representative and their branch schools as well as students are of utmost importance to us at MESHA. We also encourage all practitioners from all martial arts styles to join MESHA family and benefit from this great, new organization dedicated to your promotion, strength, knowledge, skills, and success.

Currently, MESHA is accepting applications from all the qualified martial arts masters and instructors in various countries in the area to become a legitimate certified representative for their respective country in the area. All you must do is fill out the application form on this site and submit it along with appropriate annual membership fees. Why Should You Join Middle East Shinmoo Hapkido Association (MESHA)?

MESHA is the only legitimate organization approved by Dojunim Ji Han Jae for Shinmoo (Sinmoo) Hapkido in the Middle East and the region. MESHA is the only governing body of Shinmoo (Sinmoo) Hapkido in the area of Middle East and neighboring countries certifying Shinmoo schools and members. Unless you have a MESHA letter of approval to be a representative or member you will not be recognized as a Shinmoo (Sinmoo) delegate, representative, school, branch, instructor or student.

MESHA is the only legitimate governing body of Shinmoo (Sinmoo) in the Middle East and neighboring countries representing the World Sinmoo Jongshindo Association (WSJA), the World Sinmoo Hapkido Association (WSHA), the World Sinmoo Association (WSA) and the Great Grandmaster Dojunim Ji Han Jae.

MESHA’s curriculum and its teachings (mental, physical, and spiritual) is created directly by the Founder and your knowledge of Hapkido will be at the most advanced and the highest levels.

Shinmoo curriculum is designed to easily blend in with your style of martial arts enhancing and elevating your knowledge and skills.

MESHA is independent and not affiliated with one government and/or controlled by any governments, and it operates directly under the supervision of Dojunim Ji Han Jae.

Only MESHA is authorized to certify Shinmoo (Sinmoo) Hapkido students, Masters, Grandmasters, Country Representatives, and branch schools in Shinmoo Hapkido. You will have exclusive leadership in your country.

You will receive an official Letter of Appointment as the Shinmoo (Sinmoo) leader and Country Representative in your country.

You will receive an official Certificate of Membership as the Country Representative and the main point of contact for all schools in your country to display in your school and promote in your country.

You will have the tools and the opportunity to expand and attract higher number of students and schools - under your leadership - in real street proven self-defense techniques and curriculum designed for civilians and the law enforcement since 1950’s as taught to members of secret service, presidential security teams, and executive protection teams.

You and your teams will be given the opportunity to join several outstanding training and promotional opportunities held in various countries.

You will be given opportunities to promote to higher ranks in Shinmoo. Upon successful completion of the process, you will be recognized by the highest authority of Hapkido, the Founder, Dojunim Ji Han Jae, and his Senior Representative the President of MESHA, Senior Grandmaster Farshad Azad. When you receive your new Shinmoo rank you will be entered in Dojunim’s personal rank books to document your status and rank in martial arts history.

You may request to participate in training at the headquarters in the United States of America.

You may request to participate in a special opportunity to personally meet with the Great Grandmaster, Dojunim Ji Han Jae. You may bring your top ranks to this very special meeting.

You may have your schools, and teams participate in international championships, seminars, special camps, and events sponsored by the organization around the world. Each event has its own fees.

Member schools will be given the opportunity to schedule, arrange, and host seminars for promotional examinations, and technical training with prior approval of the organization.

Member countries have the privilege of inviting the President of WSJA, and MESHA, Senior Grandmaster Azad for a visit and a tour at their schools.

You will receive a number of membership and official certificates approved by the Founder of Hapkido, the Great Grandamster Dojunim Ji Han Jae upon approval.
Country Representative & School Owners Qualifications:

You must be at least 21 years of age.
-
You must be a legitimate citizen of the country you are applying to be a Country Representative or Branch Charter School for. A copy of your country passport or birth certificate will be required.

You must be a legitimate martial artist with official credentials, a list of your martial arts teachers and training timeline.

You must own at least one martial arts school with your own following in the country you are applying to represent.

You must be in good standing with the laws of your country and community.

You must provide a letter of support from at least one Shinmoo (Sinmoo) Grandmaster, Master to complete your application.

You must fill out the application on this site, and pay your membership fees as listed on this site in full upon approval to MESHA.

The Head Instructor must agree to and sign the World Shinmoo Jongshindo Association and MESHA Pledge.
Membership applications will be accepted only after thorough consideration by WSJA and MESHA officials.

Individual membership in MESHA & WSJA is exclusively held for Black Belts in good standing who wish to train in a powerful system of martial arts.

You will have the opportunity to test for your next rank and have your rank officially recognized by the highest authority of the system, the Founder of the art of Hapkido, the Great Grandmaster Dojunim Ji Han Jae, and his only Official Ambassador to the Middle East, Senior Representative, President and the Senior Grandmaster Farshad Azad, World Sinmoo Hapkido Association, World Shinmoo Jongshindo Association, and World Sinmoo Association. To receive MESHA & WSJA recognition and support you must be a current member in good standing in a recognized school, and under a recognized black belt instructor.

Individual members with their MESHA branch permission may participate in international seminars and future championships held in different countries.

Individual members will be given various privileges and opportunities to visit and practice at any of the legitimate member schools in the region should they meet the appropriate protocols.

Individual members will receive official certificates of membership upon evaluation and completion of enrollment process.

Individual members may wear MESHA’s official patch, and the World Shinmoo Jongshindo Association logo.

Individual members will be allowed to attend Black Belt seminars held around the world.

You will receive a membership certificate approved by the Middle East organization.
How do you apply for Individual Membership?
-
The applicant must submit a complete personal martial arts history and background information about all past instructors and training. One must also send in copies of all rank certifications up to the current rank. You must also submit a video of demonstration and/or presentation of your skills that best highlight your present skill level. Any additional information or recommendations will be requested if necessary.

Once all the material is reviewed you will be notified of the Association’s decision via email. If approved, we will send the necessary applications and information on the fee structure. The applicant will need to return the necessary documents, complete application, fee and four photos (2 x2) to MESHA and WSJA headquarters for the final approval.
